DIY with a difference
Families and vulnerable people may find themselves living in houses that are in need of a revamp to help make them a home but don’t have the resources to make it happen. By mobilising a large team of volunteers within our church community we are able to offer some practical help to transform a house and restore hope to its residents.
Our DIY taskforce can do tasks like clearing gardens or excess rubbish, sprucing up a room with a lick of paint, or helping with some DIY jobs like putting up curtain rails and coat hooks or fixing door handles.
We are limited to a few houses per year, and for this reason mainly only accept referrals via our existing Restore projects.
